The form is geometrically simple with both a raw masculine and elegant feminine expression, emphasized by the rustic material and soft edge at the top of the lamp. Manufactured using raw, recyclable aluminum in hand-beaten finish made in Indonesia after the old traditional Indonesian craft method also adds a refined expression to the lamp, while attractive, natural ornamentation is derived from the fine craftsmanship. Using this traditional handcraft techniques means that every CALDERA lamp is unique and with natural traces of both hands and tools. The lampshade rests on a star-shaped suspension with an integrated LED light source and is easily unhooked by tipping the suspension for convenient cleaning.
