The ASA ceramic set integrates simple form and functionality. The tactility of the striped signature patterns creates a functional grip friction and adds a little air between the fingers and the ceramic to isolate against the warmth of a hot drink. Made by order, no return. Natural variations in glazing, colors and structure will occur. This classic Japanese glazing will naturally “crack” on the surface inside the cup when used for hot beverages and take in colors from tea and coffee. In Japan seen as a natural beauty of aging and history.
