2017 is the 150 anniversary year of trade and collaboration between Japan and Denmark. As a contribution to the celebration Lars Vejen will be curating a new DESIGN COLLABORATIONS event with an exhibition at The Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts in Japan and online. The exhibitions will show new designs by Lars Vejen created in close collaboration with selected Japanese and Danish craftsmen – all handicrafts with roots in traditional crafts, skills and cultures.
