2017 is the 150 anniversary year of trade and collaboration between Japan and Denmark. As a contribution to the celebration Lars Vejen will be curating a new DESIGN COLLABORATIONS event with an exhibition at The Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts in Kyoto, Japan, at Gallery A. Petersen Collection & Craft in Copenhagen, Denmark and online.
The exhibitions will show new designs by Lars Vejen created in close collaboration with selected Japanese and Danish craftsmen – all handicrafts with roots in traditional crafts, skills and cultures.
DESIGN COLLABORATIONS / Japan – Denmark 150 years is supported by the official Japan and Denmark by permission to use the official anniversary logo.
